Every line on this page comes back to the same idea the old timber agents worked by: a tally counts, it doesn’t pay. A chip here is exactly that — a tally of the evening, nothing more.

That’s also why the list below is short rather than long. A short list is easy to keep to, and easy for a house dealer to enforce the same way for everyone, regular or first-timer.

At the table

Eight Lines That Cover Everything

  1. Photo ID is checked on every visit; entry is eighteen and over without exception.
  2. A small table fee at the door buys the chip stack for the night.
  3. The room is a physical venue only — nothing here is played or offered online.
  4. Walk-ins are welcome most nights; a bridge table is best booked ahead.
  5. Chips count points only, are never exchanged for cash, and carry no value once the night ends.
  6. No wagering, no side bets and no cash prizes are permitted at any table.
  7. The house dealer sets and rotates tables and has the final word on any scoring dispute.
  8. Chips return to the tray at the door, and lost property goes to the front counter after a fortnight.
